Chris Pardo, of Chris Pardo Design: Elemental Architecture, designed this contemporary island retreat as a small trip cabin on the island of Marrowstone in Washington state. Built by Method Homes as a prefab modular unit, this one-bed room, one-rest room mannequin, referred to as Element B, sits on waterfront property and blends with the encompassing pure panorama.
The design homes 825 sq. ft, which is partially coated in flooring-to-ceiling home windows that open up onto a deck. The home windows body the wooded and coastal views of the Puget Sound.
On the opposite aspect, the nook with the bed room opens up as nicely, filling the area with mild.
The exterior is clad in corten rusted metal and cedar siding, each of which can stand as much as the weather.
The window partitions body the breathtaking water views and make the separation between the indoors and outdoor dissolve.
The power environment friendly unit options FSC bamboo flooring and customized maple cabinetry.
