Next up on Dwell on Design’s West Side Home Tour 2013 is Las Tunas, a serious rework on one aspect of a duplex located on the coast of Malibu. Architect Bruce Bolander was on the helm of this beauty renovation the place the town, and neighboring unit, had constraints on what might be carried out, leaving little room to vary the constructing’s structure.
The 4-bed room, P,785-sq.-foot duplex was constructed within the mid Nineteen Eighties, in order that they got down to replace and provides the residence an open feeling with modern, trendy upgrades by means of wealthy supplies, splashes of shade (howdy, brilliant inexperienced within the kitchen!), and texture.
The heat wooden on the bed room ceiling juxtaposed with the shiny white flooring, retains the area balanced whereas not distracting from the all-essential ocean views.
The orange fixtures decide up tones within the wooden so to not distract from the ocean views.
I love the brilliant blue chairs and the way they brighten this small, wooden-enclosed area up.
