With unimaginable views of the ocean and plush landscapes, CUBO design architect determined to take advantage of the lower than preferrred, extraordinarily sloped lot. Dubbed “cnest”, the 2-volumed residence, situated in Kanagawa, Japan, is supposed to resemble a floating birdhouse inside the surrounding timber.
Prior to development, they determined to go away the grove of zelkova and maple timber and construct a home that matches into the surroundings with out disrupting them.
The two buildings have tall, delta-formed roofs that look as if they’re hanging from an enormous tree.
The types cantilever out from the bottom serving to to offer it that floating birdhouse look they have been going for. It’s supported by an RC slab and slender metal branches that brace it.
Large home windows deliver the sunshine inside and the angled partitions assist bounce the sunshine across the area.
